Sign Language Interpretation
American Sign Language interpretation is provided at in-person and virtual events and meetings of the Commission. With advance notice, members of the public may request language interpretation services. Possible virtual accommodations also include live captioning, audio description (if applicable), and accessible electronic documents/PowerPoints. Please make language interpretation and/or other accessibility requests by emailing the Commission at [email protected] or by calling 718-354-2718 and leaving a voicemail. All requests will be accommodated to the extent possible.
Translation and Interpretation
Note: Interpretation is the facilitation of spoken communication between users of different languages. Translation is the transferring of written information from one language to another.
