Planning for a Racially Equitable Future

Deep rooted systemic racism is baked into the infrastructure of the City, and continues to shape how our communities and transit systems are planned. Racial Justice Commissioners welcome thought leaders to focus on how government can transform to overcome inequality for BIPOC New Yorkers, families, and communities in areas of city planning, land use, infrastructure, public space, and environmental justice. Commissioners will use this information to reshape how laws serve to equitably help New Yorkers have good and safe homes.
