Racial disparities in health and mental health are a result of deep-rooted systemic racism. Racial Justice Commissioners welcome thought leaders to focus on how government can transform to overcome inequality for BIPOC New Yorkers, families, and communities in areas of health and mental health. Commissioners will use this information to reshape how laws serve to equitably benefit the health of individuals, families and communities.
